Product details

Background & context

Rift technology reached the Soviet Union across the front line, not through a laboratory. First a Spinne had to be captured, then it fell into the hands of the engineers of Science City 4. What they could not work out for themselves, SMERSH procured in the United States: design plans for two-legged walkers. The result is a cheap, fast scout that was deliberately kept simple. All later Soviet walkers build on this pattern.

On the tabletop

The Kazak is the first operational walker of the Soviet Bloc in Konflikt '47 and a fast, agile scout. It grew out of a captured Axis Spinne whose technology the engineers of Science City 4 reverse-engineered, together with plans that SMERSH obtained in the USA. Send it forward early to seize objectives and scout the enemy deployment. For heavy opponents, bring along the Molot or Mahmot, which build on its design.
