Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the '47-Universe conflict, Japanese 'Ghost Attack Squads' form the deadliest element of the Imperial Japanese Army Special Forces. Based on data from Berlin via the Axis research cooperation, as well as their own studies, Japanese scientists have developed molecular phasing technology into compact, portable generators: soldiers can temporarily desynchronize from the matter around them and appear through walls, bunkers, or the heaviest terrain. In coordinated squads, they attack enemy formations from multiple directions simultaneously and fire Type-10 Shiboru Compression Rifles at fortified positions that conventional troops could not penetrate. After the attack, the Ghosts vanish back through dense vegetation - American and British patrols usually find only abandoned positions.

The Japanese Ghost Attack Squad is the elite stealth assault squad with Type 10 Shiboru Rifles: 5 models in Warlord Resin. In-game, they act as a melee-focused ambush squad with Special Rules such as Stealthy/Honour Charge and the Compression effects of the Shiboru Rifles. Tactics: Infiltration under cover, concentrated advance against enemy HQ or MG positions, then Close Quarters Engagement - one of the most powerful Japanese K47 special units.
