The speed and agility of IJA Battle Frame Exoskeletons make them ideal for maneuvering around slow, lumbering vehicles and maximizing the punch of their anti-tank weapons. Equipped with the latest German anti-tank rocket launcher (the light and reloadable Panzerfaust 250), anti-tank teams can fire multiple shots into Allied tanks traversing the dense Pacific terrain-and then escape quickly enough to seek out the next target.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the '47-Universe conflict, the deployment of USMC Grizzly medium walkers in the Pacific presented the Japanese army with a serious tactical problem - conventional anti-tank weapons were insufficient against the heavy American walkers and Sherman tanks. The solution came from two directions: the Japanese Battle-Frame exoskeleton program and German Panzerfaust development. With the lightweight, reloadable Panzerfaust 250, the Battle-Frame became the ideal platform: fast enough to deliver multiple shots from the dense Pacific jungle, and agile enough to then change position before the attacked vehicle could return fire. The exoskeletons provide operators with enough protection and strength to operate in difficult Pacific terrain, where conventional anti-tank teams would break down during marches.

Einsatz im Spiel

The Japanese Battle Frame Anti-Tank Team is the heavily armored Japanese AT variant: 2 models in Battle Frame Power Armor with Panzerfaust 250s. In the game, the team acts as anti-tank support for Japanese heavy lists. The power armor allows for aggressive positioning closer to enemy walkers and tanks than regular AT teams. Tactics: Advance under cover, then hold position with a good line of sight to approaching heavy vehicles - deadly against Allied walkers.
