Product details

Background & context

In the '47 conflict universe, the Italian paratrooper formations of the ECI were already experienced special forces units before the war - and after Italy's split, they demanded the best available Allied equipment. The USA provided equipment and training for the ECI in the early stages of the Firefly program, with the goal that each paratrooper battalion could deploy at least one company with jump packs instead of classic parachute systems. Firefly technology gives the Paracadutisti significantly improved mobility without relying on aircraft - they fly directly into the center of the battle. Armed with SMGs and the latest Rift-Tech grenade launchers, they carry out lightning-fast raids on Axis positions, identifying weak points and thus enabling traditional forces to launch subsequent large-scale offensives.

On the tabletop

Experienced Italian paratroopers on the Allied side demanded the best equipment available, including American Firefly jump packs. The nine figures carry submachine guns for close-range fighting and Rift-tech grenade launchers as a support weapon. In Konflikt '47 you use them for lightning raids against the defensive lines of central Italy. They look for weak spots that your regular troops then attack.
