    For the Italian Co-Belligerent Army (ECI), heavy armour is a logical development. British Galahad suits were chosen as the basis and adapted with stylised gladiatorial helmets - thus the Bersaglieri Armoured Infantry were born. Deployed to spearhead Allied advances along the Gustav Line, the unit combines British power armour with Italian tradition.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    In the Konflikt '47 universe, the co-belligerent Italian Army (ECI - Esercito Cobelligerante Italiano) on the Allied side recognized its deficiencies in heavy tanks. Without conducting large-scale Rift-Tech research of its own, it chose a pragmatic approach: the British Galahad-pattern powered armor was licensed and equipped with stylized gladiatorial helmets and Italian camouflage. The Bersaglieri Armoured Infantry thus combine British high technology with the traditional identity of this elite unit. They are deployed as the spearhead of Allied advances along the Gustav Line, with the mission of breaking through Axis defensive positions, allowing subsequent regular troops to advance.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The Italian Bersaglieri Armoured Infantry Squad is the fast Italian Heavy variant: 8 models in light power armor with Bersaglieri tradition. In-game, they combine Heavy Infantry Tough characteristics with Fast Movement - faster than Centurion Heavy. Tactics: Aggressive flanking advances, rapid repositioning, and anti-personnel fire from medium range. Bersaglieri helmet plumes remain the visual trademark.
