Product details

Background & context

In the Konflikt '47 universe Japan came late to walker technology, and then by a roundabout route. Its Axis partners supplied a small number of Pz.Kpfg. VII Heuschrecke, though without the gravity modules that defined the German original. What Berlin had intended as a stripped-down export version proved a stroke of luck in Japanese hands, because without the heavy equipment the machine moved considerably more nimbly. Domestic industry copied the chassis.

On the tabletop

The Inago is the Empire of Japan's medium walker in Konflikt '47 and the answer to the US Marine Corps Grizzly walkers in the Pacific. It derives from exported Axis Heuschrecke walkers that lacked their jump modules. That is exactly what makes it faster and more agile than the original, so you can use it both in combat and for reconnaissance. Its speed lets it seize objectives early or attack round a flank while your infantry holds the centre.
