    The Inago is Japan's indigenous development of a medium walker - created from an imported Axis chassis, which the Japanese promptly improved by replacing the missing grav-jump modules with a sleeker design. The result is a fast, agile walker that excels in both direct combat and reconnaissance.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    When the USMC Grizzly Walkers appeared in the Pacific, Japan faced a serious tactical problem. Developing their own from scratch would have been too time-consuming - so they turned to their Axis allies, who supplied an exported Pz.Kpfg. VII Heuschrecke, albeit without its gravity-jump modules. What initially seemed like a deficiency turned out to be an advantage: the lighter walker was significantly faster and more agile than the original. Japanese industry used the supplied chassis as a template and developed the entirely domestically produced Inago from it - named after the locust, which also lends its name to the original.

    The Inago Medium Walker is a light or agile walker from The Empire of Japan faction. On the tabletop, it is suitable for advances, flanking pressure, and exploiting terrain or mission objectives. The reconnaissance role was only assigned if the source or product context supported a scout/recce function.
