Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Four Illyrian warriors form the command group of your warrior units from the southern kingdoms on the Adriatic in Hail Caesar. Rules are in the army list Biblical to Early Medieval and in The Pyrrhic Wars supplement. Service as mercenaries in Greek armies made these warriors more experienced than a simple tribal levy, and several scholars place the origin of the oval thureos shield in their region. The wars with Rome under Queen Teuta make a good scenario.
