    The Hungarian Weapons Teams provide three specialist weapon groups for any Bolt Action army: Panzerschreck, Solothurn anti-tank rifle and flamethrower - all cast as two-man teams in Warlord Resin Plus. This allows a Hungarian infantry company to be tactically reinforced.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Hungarian armed forces fought predominantly on the Eastern Front in World War II as allies of the Axis powers and faced an increasingly mechanized adversary there. To counter the Soviet tank advantage, specialized close-combat weapons such as rocket-propelled high-explosive anti-tank launchers and heavy anti-tank rifles were issued in ever-larger numbers. The Swiss Solothurn rifle was a technical peculiarity: thanks to its magazine feed and light mounting, it offered an unusually high rate of fire for its class. Flamethrower squads complemented the arsenal and were primarily used during assaults on fortified positions.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    Weapon teams of this type add tactical depth to the game table, as the opponent must consider several threatening capabilities simultaneously. An anti-tank team forces enemy vehicles to take detours or seek cover, while a flamethrower squad makes infantry in buildings the most dangerous target priority. Such special units are particularly suitable for scenarios involving cramped towns, bunker complexes, or delaying actions. For a Hungarian line company, these three teams form a compact support component that meaningfully expands the core profile of the troops.
