Product details

Background & context

Hungarian armoured troops fought on the Eastern Front and later in the defensive battles for their own country, often in vehicles that were technically inferior to the enemy's. If a crew lost its tank, the most dangerous part of the battle began for them: the way back to their own lines, without armour and with a pistol on the belt. It is exactly this moment that the dismounted figures in this pack show.

On the tabletop

Four figures sit in tank hatches, while three more have bailed out of their destroyed vehicle and must reach safety on foot. You place the mounted crewmen in the open hatches of your Hungarian tanks in Bolt Action. The dismounted men serve as an objective marker or scenario piece, for example a crew that has to make its way back to friendly lines. Historically, Hungarian tank crews fought on the Eastern Front and later in the defensive battles in their own country.
