Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

This vignette shows a haruspex reading the liver of a sacrificed bull to see whether the gods favour the campaign. In Hail Caesar Epic Battles you place it beside your Roman headquarters or use it as a scene before a game begins, for example to open a scenario with good or bad omens. Historically a bad reading could delay a deployment, and some commanders kept sacrificing until the result suited them. The model is cast in Warlord Resin.
