Guards MK II Armoured Infantry are the second generation of Soviet heavy power armour in Konflikt '47 - with enhanced propulsion, heavier armour, and a greater variety of weapons than the initial models. So far, they have only been assigned to elite Guards units.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

Konflikt '47 spinnt den Zweiten Weltkrieg ab 1945 weiter: Aus den Rift-Spalten kommt Technologie, die keine Seite versteht, aber jede sofort verbaut. Die erste sowjetische Schwerpanzerung taugte gegen Fahrzeuge, tat sich gegen Infanterie aber schwer. Der Mark II sollte das beheben, mit kräftigerer Servounterstützung und einem breiteren Waffenprogramm. Weil die Fertigung hinterherhinkt, bekommen ihn zuerst die Gardeverbände, die damit als Speerspitze angesetzt werden.

Einsatz im Spiel

Guards MK II Armoured Infantry are the standard British choice for Heavy Armoured Infantry lists. With 8 models per box, a full squad in second-generation Galahad Power Armour is possible. In-game, they feature Tough/Slow Special Rules with an emphasis on anti-personnel fire. Deployed as a core unit in Galahad Battalions - tough enough to absorb heavy hits and with sufficient firepower for anti-personnel and light anti-vehicle tasks.
