Description

The Mark II armoured suit is the second generation of Soviet Heavy Armour in Konflikt '47: more servo power, thicker plates, better weapon mounts. It is being built too slowly, which is why only Guards units wear it so far.

Product details

Background & context

Konflikt '47 carries the Second World War on from 1945: technology comes out of the Rifts that no side understands but every side builds in at once. The first Soviet heavy armour was fine against vehicles but struggled against infantry. The Mark II was meant to put that right, with stronger servo assistance and a wider range of weapons. Because production is lagging behind, it goes first to the Guards formations, which are then committed as the spearhead.

On the tabletop

Eight metal figures represent Soviet Guards infantry in Mark II armoured suits in Konflikt '47. Compared with the first heavy armour, the suit gives more power-assisted movement and a broader range of weapons, meant above all to improve its fighting against infantry. Because production is lagging, so far only Guards units wear it. You field the unit as the heavy tip of your attack, one that soaks up fire and drives enemy infantry out of their positions.
