Greek Peltasts, Javelin Men and Slingers contains 56 figures (plastic); 48 peltasts and javelin throwers (plastic). The included models are made of plastic and are supplied as unpainted tabletop kits. Peltasts were light Greek infantrymen who derived their name from the crescent-shaped leather shield (Pelte) and fought throughout Greece and the Mediterranean from the 5th to the mid-3rd century BC.
