Regular infantrymen of the German Afrika Korps in characteristic tropical uniform - equipped with Karabiner 98K, stick grenades and the typical DAK equipment set. 3D printed resin quality as a solid base for any DAK infantry unit - can be combined with Set 2 (Rubicon SKU 284145), Special Weapons (284142) and Command (284143) for complete combat units.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

The German Africa Corps fought in North Africa against British Commonwealth forces from 1941 to 1943. The infantry wore the characteristic light khaki tropical uniform - tropical shirt with patch breast pockets, short or long tropical trousers, tropical boots or tropical shoes with gaiters. Headgear included the tropical helmet (pith helmet), tropical field cap, or, in combat, the M35/M40 steel helmet. They were armed with the same standard weapons as their comrades in Europe - Karabiner 98K as the main weapon, MP40 for NCOs and squad leaders, MG34 as an LMG, along with stick grenades and the Panzerbüchse 39 as an anti-tank option. The battles of Tobruk, Gazala, and El Alamein are among the most legendary of the North African campaign - in 1943, the DAK campaign ended with the surrender in Tunisia, and many veterans subsequently continued fighting in Sicily and Italy.

Einsatz im Spiel

DAK Infantry Set 1 forms the basis for any German North Africa force in Bolt Action. With various weapon options, regular infantry platoons, MG teams, and other units can be assembled. Combined with Set 2, Command and Special Weapons, a complete and varied DAK infantry force is created.
