Product details

Background & context

The British answer to the Axis heavy armour turned out differently from the American one. Instead of putting as many soldiers as possible into armour, materials and training were concentrated on small units. The Galahad Pattern armour is elaborate, and its wearers correspondingly rare. A section therefore consists of a handful of men, each of whom brings the firepower of a whole team. Against armour the unit can also call on PRIAM ATRD launchers.

On the tabletop

In Konflikt '47 the elite troops of the Commonwealth wear Galahad pattern armour. Unlike the Axis Schwertruppen, Galahad squads are kept small so they can be deployed flexibly. Each of the five soldiers carries a light machine gun, so the squad packs a lot of firepower at range into a few figures. Where enemy armour is expected, such squads also carry PRIAM anti-tank launchers, which are not included in this box. You use them to hold positions against infantry.
