Product details

Background & context

La Haye Sainte lay directly in front of the centre of the Allied position, less than a hundred metres from the road to Brussels. The King's German Legion defended the farm all day until the ammunition ran out in the evening and the French took the walls. From there French infantry fired into Wellington's centre at close range, and for a short while it looked as if the line would break.

On the tabletop

The farm of La Haye Sainte lets you recreate one of the best-known flashpoints of the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815 on your Epic Battles table. Place it in front of the centre of the Allied position, garrison it with troops such as the King's German Legion and send French infantry against it. If the farm falls, the line behind it comes under pressure. The kit comes in unpainted MDF.
