Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Three bases, each with one gun, form a battery of Guard horse artillery in 13.5 mm Waterloo games, with base sprue and flag sheet included. Because the crew was mounted, the battery could change position at the gallop. So you hold it back as a reserve and send it wherever the enemy is pressing hardest. At Waterloo the Guard horse artillery supported the Guard cavalry's attacks on the British squares, and that is where it belongs on your table too.
