Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The testudo shows early imperial legionaries under their closed roof of shields, which caught arrows, sling stones and spears before they moved to the assault. In Hail Caesar you set the model up as the focal point of your legion, or as a unit working its way towards a wall or position under fire. The metal centurion keeps the formation together, and the four metal arrows go into the shields. Three decal sheets provide the shield designs.
