    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

Instead of a lance these three auxiliary horsemen carry the spatha, the long cavalry sword, along with a shield and a quiver of javelins. They throw their javelins before contact and then fight hand to hand. In Hail Caesar you use them where a battle is already tipping: in the pursuit, against light troops in open country or in a fight for a marching camp. Together with the lancers of the same range they form the cavalry of your legion.
