Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The aquilifer with lion pelt and eagle is the centrepiece of your early Imperial legion in Hail Caesar. You place him with your commander or in the front rank of a cohort, where the fighting is thickest. Losing the eagle brought disgrace on the whole legion, and the Varus disaster shows how long such a loss could linger. Bearer and standard come separately so you can set the eagle straight. Both parts are metal.
