    Coastal bunkers were a central component of the German Atlantic Wall defenses in Northwestern Europe. The manufacturer places this bunker in the context of R612/R680 constructions, which could accommodate heavy weapons such as anti-tank guns or field howitzers. Such positions were intended to threaten landing zones with direct fire and tie down attackers as they disembarked. Therefore, for Normandy and Western Front scenarios, the bunker is a historically plausible centerpiece of a fortified defensive line.
