Product details

Background & context

What was left standing after an air raid was seldom a whole house. Mostly the outer walls and ground floors survived, while roofs and upper storeys lay in the rubble of their own street. In the end whole districts consisted of such half-height backdrops, between which vehicles could hardly move any more. For the gaming table these low remains are a more honest picture of a destroyed city than a row of intact buildings.

On the tabletop

Line this single-storey ruined facade along a street to suggest rows of houses without filling up the table. Infantry behind the wall gets cover reaching roughly head height. It recreates districts where only outer walls and ground floors were left standing after the air raids. The laser-cut MDF kit comes with instructions and combines with the other ruins in the Skytrex range.
