The Centurion Mk III is a British battle tank for Bolt Action Korea in 28mm/1:56 scale. The resin and metal kit includes a Centurion Mk III with a metal crew, stat cards, damage markers, and a decal sheet.

In the Korean War, the Centurion offered a powerful combination of firepower, sloped armour, and advancements such as an improved engine and main gun. Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

The Centurion was developed from 1943 as a British cruiser tank concept, whose sloped armour evolved it into a heavily protected main battle tank. Improvements to the propulsion, main gun, and stabilisation quickly made the Mk III the United Kingdom's most important battle tank. In the Korean War, according to Warlord, the Centurion surpassed the Soviet T-34/85s of the Korean and Chinese forces, particularly in terms of firepower. Thus, the vehicle represents the heavy armoured striking power of the Commonwealth forces in Korea.

In the game, the Centurion Mk III represents an armored fighting unit for direct fire support and maneuvering towards mission objectives. The tank can accompany infantry, engage enemy vehicles, and put pressure on key terrain sections. In Bolt Action, it is a flexible component for tank or combined arms battle groups.
