Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Just before contact, the legionary of the late Republic threw his pilum, which stuck in the enemy's shield and made it useless. From the 24 plastic figures you build a legionary unit for Hail Caesar with centurion, standard bearer and musician. In play, the throw at short range weakens the enemy front before your men follow up with the gladius. Sling arms are included as an extra, and Caesar's campaigns in Gaul provide the setting.
