Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Mail shirt, oval shield and Montefortino helmet show the legionary between Marius and Augustus, before segmented armour arrived. The 24 plastic figures share the same bodies, so you choose pose and weapon yourself from gladius, pilum or sling. A centurion, signifer and cornicen lead the unit. In Hail Caesar it stands in the battle line as a legion of the Republic and seeks close combat with the short sword.
