Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the '47-Universe conflict, British research into automated forces has reached a pace where production can barely keep up with the new Bletchley Park designs. Less than a year after the first deployment of Mk I automatons in Belgium, fully automated platform trains are a reality - requiring equally advanced command units. The Mk IIC Automated Director on a Mk II chassis features significantly improved computer cores and an extended radio system, allowing it to coordinate movements, target prioritizations, and reactions across a large operational area with machine precision. The British gain massive efficiency and responsiveness advantages from this - but at the cost of human improvisation.

Einsatz im Spiel

The British Mk IIC Automated Director is the HQ variant of the robot line - an automated commander for Mk I/II Automated Infantry Squads. In-game, it acts as an HQ unit with no morale issues, enabling coordinated actions across multiple robot squads. Special rule: can pass regular order dice to Automated Squads, making the list significantly more mobile. A mandatory HQ in any robot-focused British list.
