Product details

Background & context

The British arrived at the unmanned platform by a roundabout route: first a converted armoured carrier drove without a crew, then the Rift-tech Division drew up a chassis of its own with a universal mount that takes a different weapon package depending on the mission. The first design still ran on legs, until a new track design proved steadier and at least as agile. Three weapon packages went into production, and the Lancer carries the one for anti-aircraft work.

On the tabletop

With its heavy anti-aircraft machine gun mount, the Lancer fills a gap in your Commonwealth army in Konflikt '47 by protecting your troops from air attack. The uncrewed tracked platform with universal mount and pivoting shield is one of three weapon packages for the Automated Mobile Platform, which was originally meant to walk on legs. On the table it stays close to the troops it is meant to shield.
