Product details

Background & context

The Galahad armour was Britain's answer to the German heavy troops and for a long time remained in small numbers, enough for individual elite units but not for the mass of the army. Only when production picked up could whole infantry battalions be equipped with it. That raised a question with a tradition in British regiments: whoever leads from the front should also survive at the front. So platoon, company and battalion staffs went into the field in the same armour as their men.

On the tabletop

Now that enough Galahad suits are being produced, whole British infantry battalions take the field in them in Konflikt '47. Platoon, company and battalion staffs now wear the same armour as their men. These officer models let you lead a British force in Galahad armour. They advance with the armoured squads and give their orders from the front line. The armour protects them just as it does the infantry they command.
