Product details

Background & context

Bolt Action has been running since 2012, which makes it the most-played Second World War tabletop game, and since the third edition it has had revised platoon selection and a new scenario generator. The heart of it remains the dice bag: Order Dice decide which unit acts next, and nobody knows in advance when their turn will come. Francis S. Currey received the Medal of Honor for 21 December 1944 at Malmedy, where as a sergeant of the 30th US Infantry Division he held up a German advance almost single-handed.

On the tabletop

This rulebook is the basis for every game of Bolt Action in the third edition. It covers order dice, movement, shooting, close combat and vehicles and contains army lists for Britain, Germany, the USA, Japan and the Soviet Union. The scenario generator lets you set up deployment and objectives afresh for every game. You build the included figure of Francis S. Currey with a rifle and anti-tank grenade or with a bazooka for your American force.
