Description

The elite Gendarmes of the Imperial Guard were among Napoleon's most feared cavalry units - rigorously selected, battle-hardened, and riding large black horses. This Epic Battles set brings two bases of these elite cavalry as Warlord Resin miniatures to the table, complementing any French Guard army from the Waterloo campaign.

Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The Gendarmes d'élite were a small formation of the Guard cavalry, half heavy cavalry and half military police. Accordingly the pack contains just two bases in Warlord Resin, plus base sprue and flag sheet. In 13.5 mm Black Powder games you field them as a small elite unit next to the large Guard cavalry regiments, or let them guard headquarters in a scenario. Only literate veterans of at least four campaigns were accepted.
