Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

This dancing bear in a soldier's hat is the mascot of a Hessian regiment and belongs on the command base of your Hessian regiment or commander in Epic Battles and Black Powder. It does not fight, but gives your Crown forces in the American War of Independence a story of their own. Around 30,000 men from Hessian regiments fought there as troops hired out to Britain by their princes, and trained bears were a well-known fairground attraction in the 18th century.
