Background & context

When Napoleon, after his return, once again seized the initiative, the European great powers formed the Seventh Coalition to oppose him. At the head of the British and Allied forces were experienced commanders who could look back on years of campaign experience. Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, was considered one of the most capable military leaders of his era and decisively shaped the defensive doctrine of the British army. Alongside him, generals such as Picton and Uxbridge contributed significantly to the leadership structure of the Allied army. These commanders embody the military leadership elite of one of the most significant coalitions of the Napoleonic era.

On the tabletop

Wellington leads your British-Allied army of 1815 in Epic Battles and Black Powder, supported by Picton, Uxbridge, the Prince of Orange and a cavalry general. Uxbridge and the cavalry general take your cavalry, Picton an infantry division and the Prince of Orange a whole corps, while Wellington himself stands on the command hill as commander-in-chief. The figures are cast in Warlord Resin, and bases are not included.
