Background & context

Following Napoleon's return from exile, Prussia mobilized significant troop contingents within a very short time and placed them at the disposal of the allied forces. The leadership of this army combined experienced veterans with a pronounced will to attack - first and foremost Field Marshal von Blücher, known for his intrepid offensive stance. His close colleague Gneisenau, as Chief of the General Staff, ensured strategic coherence, while other commanders such as von Bülow commanded independent corps. These men decisively shaped the character of Prussian warfare in the final phase of the Napoleonic Wars.

On the tabletop

Blücher, Gneisenau and the corps commanders von Bülow, von Zieten and Pirch I lead your Prussian army of 1815 in Epic Battles and Black Powder. Field Blücher as commander-in-chief with Gneisenau beside him as chief of staff, while the others give orders to your corps. That lets you replay the march to Waterloo, when the Prussian corps headed west instead of east after their defeat at Ligny. The figures are cast in Warlord Resin.
