Product details

Background & context

The American Civil War was characterized by mass armies, dense infantry fire, artillery, and costly frontal assaults. In Black Powder Epic Battles, these engagements are represented on a small scale with large formations. The generic markers can be used for both sides because they are not explicitly assigned to the Union or the Confederacy. They are particularly helpful in scenarios involving sustained fire and dwindling combat effectiveness of regiments.

On the tabletop

Place these 18 Warlord Resin casualty bases, six for cavalry and twelve for infantry, next to a regiment in Black Powder to track its losses visibly. Since the figures are generic, you can paint them as Union or Confederate to match your army. They are designed for the smaller scale of the Black Powder ACW range, but work in other Civil War games as well.
