    Background & context

    The Bf 110 Zerstörer was designed as a heavy fighter, intended to engage both enemy bombers and fighter formations. Over the course of the war, the type proved particularly effective in ground attack and as a night fighter, while often reaching its limits in air superiority combat against agile single-seaters. Wolfgang Schenk was one of those pilots who flew the aircraft from the early campaigns into the Eastern War, gaining experience in both fighter and ground attack roles. His missions against Soviet forces made him one of the most renowned Zerstörer leaders of the Luftwaffe.

    On the tabletop

    Wolfgang 'Bombo' Schenk led his Bf 110 squadron through 300 ground-attack missions in the East, scoring 18 air victories along the way, after earlier flying over Poland and Norway. With his ace card, two ace skill cards and three trait cards you field the Bf 110 as an ace of your Luftwaffe in Blood Red Skies, ideally in Eastern Front scenarios. The plastic kit comes with an advantage base, pilot discs and decals.
