Product details

Background & context

The Bedford QLD was Bedford's first four-wheel-drive 3-tonner and came off the production line in large numbers from 1941. It towed guns, carried troops and, above all, hauled ammunition: from the port via the depot to the firing position. Putting a QLD on the gaming table means putting down the least spectacular yet most important half of an artillery unit: its supply.

On the tabletop

Eleven resin parts show stacked ammunition crates with lashings for the bed of the Bedford QLD. From 1941 this four-wheel-drive three-tonner mainly hauled ammunition from port to depot to firing position. With this load your truck looks as though it is bringing fresh supplies to a battery. The parts are made for Rubicon kit 280106 but can go on any 1:56 vehicle.
