Product details

Background & context

Bertie left the English Electric works in Preston as an ordinary Mk I. On 9 June 1946 his formation was ambushed near Antwerp by heavy Axis panzermechs, and when the fighting was over the automaton was presumed lost. With the last of his power he dragged himself back, found his unit gone and began to rebuild himself from the wrecks of fallen automatons. A leg, energy cells, ammunition, weapons. What walked the fronts after that was no longer a factory product.

On the tabletop

B for Bertie is a hero for your British automatons in Konflikt '47. Once an ordinary Mk I, he survived an ambush by heavy Axis Panzermechs near Antwerp on 9 June 1946, could not find his unit again and rebuilt himself from parts of destroyed automatons. On the table you field him as a single figure with a story of his own alongside your automated platoons. The plastic figure comes with a base and assembly guide.
