When Abraham Lincoln was elected president in 1861, the Southern states saw their way of life and state sovereignty threatened and seceded from the Union - thus began the American Civil War. For four years, Union troops and Confederate forces fought in an industrialized mass war that would change the nation forever. The Epic Battles system allows you to recreate these immense battles in 15mm - regiment versus regiment, on battlefields that reflect actual Civil War battlefields. Guts & Glory provides everything two players need to get started right away.
