    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Achaeans and Mycenaeans were the dominant Greek-speaking cultures of the Late Bronze Age Aegean. Archers played an important role in their armies - both as independent skirmishers and providing support to the heavy infantry in the line. These figures represent warriors from the period of the Trojan Wars as depicted in Homer’s Iliad. They are equally suitable for Minoan, Mycenaean and Early Helladic forces of the late Bronze Age.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    Achaean Archers are used in Hail Caesar as an archer unit for Mycenaean-Achaean Bronze Age armies. In the game, they provide range, flank protection, and sustained missile fire against unshielded or already engaged targets. The unit should use terrain and distance and coordinate its effect with the movement of the main line.
