Product details

Background & context

The 42M Toldi IIa was a 1942 development of Hungary's Toldi light tank series. Compared to earlier versions, it received a 40mm main gun in a larger turret. The improved frontal armour increased survivability without fundamentally changing its role as a light, mobile tank. For Hungarian forces in Bolt Action, the Toldi IIa thus offers a fast, yet still light, tank option.

On the tabletop

The Toldi IIa is the Hungarian version of 1942, with a larger turret, a 40 mm gun and much thicker frontal armour. In Bolt Action it gives your Hungarian armoured platoon a light tank with more firepower and protection than its predecessors, which had served mainly for reconnaissance. Use it on the flanks and against lighter targets, as it remains a light tank against medium ones. Stat card, order die and decals are included.
