    Product details

    Background & context

The ANZAC infantry in the Vietnam War consisted of Australian and New Zealand soldiers. The set belongs to the Vietnam War and is suitable for jungle warfare, counter-insurgency, and joint operations with US and South Vietnamese forces. Historically, the Battle of Long Tan, among others, is well-known. The classification is therefore with the Vietnam War and thus in the Cold War, not the First World War.

    On the tabletop

These 30 Australians and New Zealanders form your force for operations in South Vietnam from 1965. With the SLR, Owen, F1, M16, M79 and M60 you arm scouts, riflemen and an MG team as you see fit. On the table they suit long, quiet patrols, ambushes and security tasks of the kind the Australian task force carried out in Phuoc Tuy province. The battle of Long Tan in 1966 makes a natural scenario.
