    The People's Army of Vietnam (NVA) was the regular armed force of North Vietnam - disciplined, armed with Soviet and Chinese equipment, and a formidable opponent for any US or South Vietnamese unit. This plastic set provides a complete NVA platoon, including a command section with flag bearer and bugler.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN/NVA) was the regular army of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and was actively engaged in the South from the mid-1960s onwards. Unlike the Viet Cong guerrillas, the NVA operated as a conventional force - with uniform equipment, a clear command structure, and increasingly heavy weaponry. Equipped with Soviet and Chinese infantry weapons such as the Type 56 assault rifle and the RPG-7, it was a dangerous and well-trained adversary.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    With 30 figures, a complete NVA infantry platoon can be assembled. The five identical sprues form the regular rifle squads, while the command sprue allows for an independent HQ section with flag bearer and horn player. The variety of weapons - Type 56, SKS, RPG-7, and RPD-MG - offers great flexibility in assembling squads and allows for different playstyles: from infantry wave to well-supported assault group.
