Product details

Background & context

The M48A3 Patton / M67A2 Zippo belongs to the context of the post-war era and the Cold War. Many vehicles from this period were developed based on experiences from World War II but saw significant technical advancements. On the gaming table, this classification clearly separates modern tank technology from classic WWII vehicles.

On the tabletop

For Vietnam War games in 28 mm you build either the M48A3 Patton with its 90 mm gun or the M67A2 Zippo flame tank. The Patton secures roads and convoys and gives your infantry heavy fire support against positions. The Zippo carries a flame tube that looks much like a gun and has to get close to bunkers and trenches, so you keep infantry right beside it. Decals and instructions are included.
