Product details

Background & context

The Centurion MBT Mk 5 / Mk 5/1 (FV4011) belongs to the post-war and Cold War era. Many vehicles from this period were developed based on experiences from World War II but featured significant technological advancements. On the tabletop, this classification clearly distinguishes modern tank technology from classic WWII vehicles.

On the tabletop

This kit builds a Centurion Mk 5 or the Mk 5/1 FV4011 with reinforced glacis armour, as used by Australia in Vietnam from 1968. In the jungle it supports your infantry at close quarters, takes on bunker systems and withstands mine and rocket hits better than lighter vehicles. With the optional dozer blade it pushes earth banks and obstacles aside. Side skirts, hatches and a commander are also included.
