    Product details

    Background & context

British and Commonwealth crews had a reputation for going into action with half their household on board: bedrolls, water cans, boxes and tools hung on the outside of turret and track guards. Part of that was plain necessity, because supplies arrived irregularly in the desert and later in Normandy. The rest was everyday life, and water for the tea was never a minor matter in a British tank crew.

    On the tabletop

British and Commonwealth crews drove with plenty of kit strapped to the outside, and these two frames with 48 parts each provide exactly that. Spread grenade and steel ammunition boxes, spare track links, oil and water cans, ladders and tarpaulins over your Churchill, Cromwell or Sherman. The PIAT with its bomb carrier also suits infantry bases or dug-in positions. Glue the plastic parts with plastic cement.
