Product details

Background & context

Vehicles in World War II were often loaded with additional equipment, tools, fuel canisters, and personal belongings in the field. Such stowage reflects the improvised supply situation and the everyday life of motorized troops. Stowage sets add more depth to vehicle models and help to individualize individual models more effectively.

On the tabletop

Two identical plastic frames supply stowage for American and Commonwealth vehicles. Spare road wheels and track links fit cargo trucks and the M4 Sherman, joined by 200-litre drums, jerrycans with a fuel pump, ammunition and tool boxes, tow cable loops, a bucket, a funnel and rolled tarpaulins. Use them to load Shermans, half-tracks and truck beds. The parts are assembled with plastic cement.
