Product details

Background & context

The Wotan with Railgun belongs to the heavy Axis Panzermech development in the alternative Konflikt '47 setting. The railgun represents the use of Rift-Tech to combat heavily armored targets. Compared to conventional tanks, the walker combines powerful armament with off-road capability, making it particularly suitable for Axis lists that rely on technological superiority and heavy firepower.

On the tabletop

This version of the Wotan carries a heavy rail cannon and can take on the heaviest enemy tanks and walkers in Konflikt '47. In an assault it escorts the heavy Thor mechs to their urban objective and then guards the flanks so enemy armour cannot cut the attackers' supply lines. Together, Thor and Wotan form a pairing of assault and cover. The model was previously sold as the Zeus-X.
