Product details

Background & context

Victory at Sea covers World War II naval engagements with warships, aircraft, submarines, and coastal defenses. The official description mentions rules, historical background, twenty-eight scenarios, and fleet lists. The Noshiro was a Japanese light cruiser of the Agano class, placing the special miniature in the Pacific War. The rulebook thus forms the basic framework for naval battles and scenarios at sea.

On the tabletop

This hardback rulebook is how you play Victory at Sea, the game of naval combat in the Second World War. It contains the complete rules including aircraft, submarines and coastal batteries, plus background on how naval warfare developed. 28 historical scenarios cover every theatre, and the fleet lists give you stats for hundreds of ships, submarines, aircraft and fast attack craft of all the major naval powers. So your games range from a single destroyer hunting merchantmen to clashes of battleships.
