Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The US fleet for Black Seas does without ships of the line: two over-gunned frigates, USS President and USS United States, plus three frigates, six brigs and gunboats, and metal parts for Chesapeake, Congress and Constellation. The American special rules allow no large ships but make your frigates especially tough and heavily armed, and the crews are well drilled. That lets you refight the single-ship actions of the War of 1812, in which the Americans won eleven duels against the Royal Navy, or the fight against the Barbary pirates. Sails and flags to cut out are part of the set.
