Product details

Background & context

In Konflikt '47 the atomic strike on Dresden opened a rift from which Germany drew technology that no physics textbook knows. The Schwerefeld weapons locally intensify gravity and crush targets under their own weight: the heavier, the more effective. The first Rift weapons were huge; with better energy sources, weapon and power supply shrank so far that both hang behind one towing vehicle. The heavy armoured infantry took over crewing it and in many units swaps the PaK 40 for the lighter piece in return.

On the tabletop

This towed Schwerefeld Projektor comes with three crew figures in heavy armour serving the gun on its resin carriage. The weapon increases gravity at the target, and the heavier a vehicle is, the harder it is hit. In Konflikt '47 you therefore aim it above all at walkers and heavy tanks rolling towards your position. In many heavy infantry units it has replaced the Pak 40, because it is lighter and easier to move.
