German Rift-Tech scientists in Dresden have converted the Schwerefeld Projector into a towable version that can be used by infantry formations. This set contains the Towed Schwerefeld Projector with the heavy Schweretruppen crew in power armour.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the '47 conflict universe, the Gravity Field Projector proved to be a versatile weapon: with anti-vehicle capability, a higher rate of fire than conventional guns, and a sustained gravity field that restricts enemy movement. Improvements to the Rift-Tech power supplies allowed Dresden scientists to gradually miniaturize the originally massive apparatus. The Towed Gravity Field Projector System combines the weapon on a towable carriage with a separate, also towed, generator. The operating crew comes from the new Heavy Armored Infantry units - heavily armored to remain at the gun even under fire. In many heavy infantry units, the system has replaced some of the PaK 40 guns because it is lighter, more compact, and easier to maneuver.

Einsatz im Spiel

The Towed Gravity Field Projector System with Crew is the German towed anti-vehicle artillery. The set includes the gun plus 3 Heavy Trooper crew members in Heavy Armor. In-game, the Gravity Field Cannon acts as a specialized anti-walker weapon with gravity manipulation effects. Tactics: Position in cover with a good line of sight to approaching walkers or heavy tanks; the power-armored crew provides additional protection against retaliatory fire.
