Hintergrund & Einordnung

The StuG III carried its gun rigidly mounted in the superstructure without a rotating turret, which resulted in a low, difficult-to-hit silhouette. With its long 7.5cm gun, it became one of the most effective tank destroyers of the war. It was highly effective when operating from cover.

In the game, the StuG breaks through positions and ambushes enemy tanks from cover. Its low profile makes it hard to hit. Five guns form a complete assault gun platoon.
